Added Rules for 2003
| 3a) Jim
Kelly rule - The total trade money will
now be split at seasons end with the team taht
scores the most total points during the regular
season and the team that finishes best and does
not make the playoffs, for 2003 that will be the
7th place team. |
| |
| 3b) Instant
replay trade challenge rule - Each team
will be giving two trade challenges per season.
They may use these at anytime the see a trade
they do not think is fair. When a challenge is
played, each one of the teams involved in the
trade will send an email to the league to explain
why they think the trade is fair, also the team
making the challenge can also send an email to
the league on why he challenged the trade and why
he thinks it should not be allowed. The remaining
teams in the league (9 teams for 2003) will then
vote on the trade. If the challenge is upheld the
trade will be over turned and each one of the
teams involved will be charged 1 of the
challenges for that season, plus they will still
pay the trade fees to the trade money pool for
the trade. If the trade is voted to be fair and
passes the teams making the challenge will be
charged a challenge and will also cover the cost
of the total trade for the both sides. (If a trade is to be
challenged you have 24hrs from the time the trade
is confirmed. Sorry cant hold up the league
because some guys cant check emails everyday.
Just something we have to live with.) (Same thing with the
vote everyone will have 24 hrs to vote on a
challenge. If you need votes one way or the other
your more than welcome to do your own politics on
the phone to get the votes you need.) |
| |
| 3c) Free
Agent re-drafts - With 12 teams and 21 man
rosters we will now be having 2 3 round re-drafts
instead of 1 5 round re-draft. The re-drafts will
take place starting the Tuesday after the 4th and
8th weeks of the season. So 1st re-draft starts
on the Tuesday of week 5, and we will draft and
drop in order of standing, with last place
picking 1st. |
| |
| 3d) Entry Fee rule - Entry
fee will remain at $40 for all those who pay by
the start of the regular season. The entry fee
will be $45 if paid by week 4, and it will go up
to $50 if not paid by week 8. Anyone paying enrty
fee after the end of the season get together will
pay $60. Sorry to do this but it gets to be a
pain in my side to chase people down after the
season is over to collect enrty fees. |
| |
| 3e) Division Tie-Breaker
- After a little debate about this last season,
Division champion will be decided by best record
overall, Tie breakers will now be, Head to head then Division Record, If still
tied Total points then total points allowed.
Wilcard teams tiebreakers will still be head to
head then total points scored. |
| |
